Is Adam Levine taking a break from performing with Maroon 5 for a while after the cheating scandal?
On Tuesday, an Instagram model went viral for accusing the lead singer of having an affair with her.
Sumner Stroh first did not name the unfaithful party, just referring to him as a man married to a Victoria's Secret model.
The 23-year-old claimedthat throughout the affair, she was young, naive, and felt used because she was "very easily persuaded."
The encounter is said to have happened "last year," after she graduated from college. They kept exchanging flirtatious DMs.
In un-dated messages obtained by Radar, Sumner said she was headed to Mexico, to which the "She Will Be Loved" singer said he needed to "go rub one out."
"I often think about when you used to get me into that place where I literally would stare and drool and do whatever you told me," The alleged DM continued.
However, after Sumner Stroh revealed Adam Levine, other women claimed to have gotten flirtatious texts from the musician.
In reality,four additional womenleveled stunning charges against the married guy.
Adam denied having a sexual relationship with Sumner, although he did admit to sending flirtatious texts to her and expressed sorrow.
Is Adam Levine Going On A Hiatus?
According to TMZ, despite the DM saga and garnering the ire of nearly everyone living at the moment, Adam Levine will still take the stage.
Maroon 5 will play at The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation's annual fundraising extravaganza, "The Event," in Las Vegas early next month.
The performance is slated for October 1 at the MGM Grand, and the concert will go on.
There will be no red carpet event like last year, which is fortunate for Adam because media will not question him about the entire situation.
The "Sunday Morning" hitmaker is apparently moving forward with other professional commitments he has previously made, such as the Maroon 5 World Tour, which will make stops across the world.

Adam Levine is apparently desperate to mend his marriage with Behati Prinsloo after openly accusing her of cheating on him.
According to People magazine, the 43-year-old is making every attempt to reconcile with his supermodel wife, saying, "He accepted that he went behind her back and was disrespectful. He admitted that he acted like a fool. She is still extremely hurt."
Despite the issue, Behati is apparently 100% dedicated to her family at the moment.
