Frank Sinatra, despite her long list of hit songs, hated one of the tracks he made and sang.
Sinatra's fans finally remembered the late singer again. "Von Ryan's Express" aired on BBC Two. It currently stands on the "Best Films List" created by Mark Robson, and it has 90 percent positive ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.
Aside from the film, Sinatra loved his songs so much - except for one track.
Express UK noted that the late singer hated "Strangers in the Night" despite its success stories. For what it's worth, the song topped the charts in the UK and US and brought home Best Male Pop Performance and Record of the Year at the 1967 Grammy Awards.
Sinatra even called it a "piece of s**t" amid the album's milestones - from being the most profitable and best-selling album in his career.
In Jean-Pierre Homach's book, the author claimed that the crooner would always tell the audience how much he hated the track before performing it, saying it was the "worst f**king song" he had ever heard.
The claims were supported by Anthony Summers and Robbyn Swan's book, "Sinatra: The Life, The Artist" (via Morning Express). Sinatra reportedly told his fans who liked the song that they "must go crazy with pineapple yogurt."
"If you dare to play that song again, I'll stick the bow of the violin where the sunlight doesn't shine," he said, per Express UK.
"Strangers in the Night" famously competed against The Beatles' "Michelle" for the 1967 Grammy Award for Song of the Year. But the band ended up winning the award.
Still, at that time, Sinatra brought home "A Man and His Music" and beat The Beatles' "Revolver" for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

Sinatra bid goodbye for good when he died on May 14, 1998, in Los Angeles. Per History, the crooner died after suffering a heart attack.
Tabloids flocked and speculated about his health saying that he probably suffered other health issues before his passing.
Meanwhile, his close friend and manager Tony Oppedisano revealed to Mirror how he witnessed everything before the singer took his last breath. According to him, two doctors and medical technicians were surrounding him in a hospital bed while his wife, Barbara, told him to fight.
He added that, despite difficulty breathing, he uttered his final words: "I'm losing."
