SZA was recently named as one of Time Magazine's 2022 Time100 Next and Lizzo shared a heartwarming message to her co-female artist in the industry, saying she will be one of the greatest musicians in this time and age.

In an account written by the Grammy Award-winning singer, Lizzo said she met the "Kiss Me More" hitmaker in Minneapolis when she had a concert.

Since she was a fan, the "Good As Hell" hitmaker and her friends went to her show and they ended up taking a selfie together in the bathroom.

The photo means a lot to her as she constantly sends it to SZA from time to time as they just met at the time and she didn't know they will have a "long relationship" after that.

The following year, Lizzo's career started skyrocketing and she was booked to perform where the star was a headliner. Since then, SZA's career also took off.

Lizzo Believes SZA's 'Ctrl' Was a 'Cultural Reset'

After dropping her debut album "Ctrl" in 2017, the songstress became one of the most popular rising R&B singers of her generation.

Lizzo considers the record a "cultural reset" because she believes that it changed the world.

"The authenticity in her craft, the way she's able to tell her story and the way she uses melody, is extraordinary. No one can replicate that," Lizzo added. (via Uproxx)

SZA New Song, Album Dropping Soon?

Surprisingly, SZA has not dropped any album after releasing "Ctrl" but she managed to release several singles through the years.

She surprised fans on the fifth anniversary of her debut album by releasing a deluxe edition that contained new songs: "2AM," "Awkward," "Tread Carefully," "Jodie," "Percolator," "Miles," and a different version of "Love Galore."

Recently, famed record producer Benny Blanco shared a TikTok video, teasing fans about SZA's new song.
