Teddy Riley, the father of Nia Riley, went on "VladTV," hosted by DJ Vlad, and talked about the alleged abusive relationship his daughter was in with Soulja Boy over 8 years ago.

The pair's relationship was on and off, for the most part. Riley revealed that despite the relationship being documented on "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood," he was not aware of the abuse behind the scenes.

"I'm looking for an apology for my daughter. And as a man, I think she deserves it," Riley said.

According to reports, the rapper admitted to cheating and verbally abusing the younger Riley during their relationship.

This was further confirmed by Riley herself during an exclusive interview with Tasha K the previous year, "I wanted to leave. I was trying to leave," she said.

Alleged Abuse

According to Riley, she tried to leave the rapper on several occasions, but was unsuccessful, as he used violence to keep her from leaving.

She also alleged that he pointed a gun at her while she was pregnant, reports say, "I got up, got my bag. I walked downstairs. And I felt him press it against the back of my head. And I just sat down. I sat on the steps for a couple of hours. He was sitting behind me."

Their relationship lasted eight years and ended with Riley filing a lawsuit against Soulja Boy, alleging physical and sexual abuse.

"Well, let me say this, Soulja Boy knows who I am and he knows I'm deep. He knows I'm very deep. We had an altercation, I was called a lot of names, and I got an apology," he said but added that his daughter is yet to receive her apology.

Soulja Boy's Take

Soulja Boy, born DeAndre Cortez Way, was clearly annoyed with the call out, and returned the favor, coming after DJ Vlad, who interviewed Riley.

"You can drop all the interviews you want, speaking on my name. Stop bringing Teddy Riley into this, DJ Vlad," said the 32-year-old.

"DJ Vlad you a b***h, right?" He said during an Instagram Live. "When you get your a*s beat, you file a lawsuit, you ain't never shot nobody... stop playing with a real n***a. [sic]"

He accused the host of capitalizing on his image to "clout chase," reports say. The rapper also tweeted: "I made you, Vladimir." However, Vlad clarified, "Hey [Soulja Boy], 'VladTV' was already hot when we gave you your biggest interview." "[...] you don't even have a top 20 interview on 'VladTV.' Stop having weekly temper tantrums about me & sit down with me in person anytime," the host Tweeted.
