It has been several weeks since Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney announced that they paused their divorce proceedings in an attempt at reconciliation... and it looks like it's working out.

The couple was seen dancing and singing the entire night, reports say, in a Los Angeles bar.

This comes after Carney joined The Black Keys in performing at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. Branch was also at the show and took some behind the scene pictures as well as pictures of the stage and shared it on her Instagram account, captioning it "Black Keys- The Forum."

Divorce

In August, the pair announced their divorce after three years of marriage. The devastating news was not lost on Branch, who accused her husband of infidelity and was arrested for allegedly slapping Carney. "To say that I am totally devastated doesn't even come close to describing how I feel for myself and for my family. The rug has been completely pulled from underneath me and now I must figure out how to move forward," she said in a press statement. This came after a tweet that accused Carney of cheating on her. The tweet has since been deleted by the "Goodbye to You" singer. Charges against Branch for the domestic assault were later dropped, and she filed for divorce soon after. However, in September, the couple put a pause on the divorce proceedings for six months in an attempt to reconcile. The couple's affection from the night prior is the first public interaction between the two since the recent news of their divorce.

Fans React

The news of their reconciliation was met with mixed reactions online. Fans criticized the singer for getting back together with Carney. "Not Michelle Branch getting back with the man who got her arrested for slapping him when she caught him cheating, and turned off the comments," a user wrote. "I need Michelle Branch to learn the first rule of relationships is not to tell people what your man did because you may forgive him but he's corny to everyone else now. Forever," another tweeted.

The 39-year-old singer married the 42-year-old drummer in 2019.
