Carly Rae Jepsen's newest album The Loneliest Time is coming out tomorrow, October 21st.

So Call Me Maybe was a song that got caught in the heads of pop music fans everywhere. Since that break-out number, Carly Rae Jepsen has had an exciting music career filled with catchy songs and delightful tunes. Now, fans of the singer are looking forward to the newest Carly Rae Jepsen album. The singer will release her new album The Loneliest Time, tomorrow, October 21st.

This is what we know about Carly Rae Jepsen's new album The Loneliest Time so far. As of now, four songs from the album have been released. These songs include Surrender My Heart, Joshua Tree, Talking to Yourself, and Far Away. As the names of these songs alone can serve to suggest, The Loneliest Time may have a bit of a darker edge than the light-pop sound we have become accustomed to hearing from the musical talent.

In an interview with The Cut, Jepsen shared that inspiration The Loneliest Time came from getting honest with her own feelings of discomfort. She mentioned powerfully in the interview:

"It's been a lifelong inquiry that I've had with myself about my relationship to loneliness...The idea that you have to be happy by yourself - like, 'Go be alone and be happy!' - that's bullshit to me. You become really happy on your own when you know you have connections out there...Loneliness is a similar thing to love...It's felt everywhere by everyone at different moments in their life."

We can't wait to listen to this incredible album tomorrow!
