Kanye West is subject to a lot of controversies over the years and most especially in recent news, which is probably why it is no surprise that the rapper has several documentaries made about him.

According to reports, earlier this year, Netflix made a documentary about him entitled "Jeen-Yuhs," which was filmed by his friends Coodie and Chike. Another documentary soon followed, but this time it was under the helm of MRC Entertainment, the one behind "Ozark," "Ted," "House of Cards," and more.

However, following West's anti-semitic comments-like blaming Jewish people, and Jewish-owned entities, threatening to go "death con 3 on Jewish people," and claiming that his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian is controlled by "Jewish Zionists"-he has been dropped by several entities and individuals.

Another on the growing list is MRC. It just announced that it will no longer release the documentary, despite it being completed and ready to go.

"This morning, after discussion with our filmmakers and distribution partners, we made the decision not to proceed with any distribution for our recently completed documentary about Kanye West. We cannot support any content that amplifies his platform," wrote CEOS Modi Wiczyk, Asif Satchu, and COO Scott Tenley in a joint statement.

Despite the growing number of individuals and entities severing ties with the 45-year-old rapper, Adidas, which had had a long-standing feud until recently, has stayed relatively silent in light of the anti-semitic comments.

Elsewhere in MRC's statement tackled this, "The silence from leaders and corporations when it comes to Kanye or anti-Semitism, in general, is dismaying but not surprising. What is new and sad, is the fear Jews have about speaking out in their own defense."

Boycott

According to reports, talent agency CAA also dropped the rapper. This comes after a company-wide memory sent by UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer, who called for a boycott against West as well as denouncing anti-Semitism.

"Regrettably, anti-Semitism, racism and many forms of hate and intolerance are part of the fabric of society," he wrote.

"Generally, they live as a plague eroding the health of communities and are combatted by understanding, tolerance and the general goodness of most people."

"But throughout history, some have used their public platform to spew the plague out loud and spread the contagion to dangerous effect. Kanye is the latest to do so, and we're seeing how his words embolden others to amplify their vile beliefs."

Many are wondering if this will be the end of the highly successful rapper and entrepreneur. However, some are also a bit skeptical.
