According to a new National Enquirer article, Underwood is anything but friendly behind closed doors.
In fact, the site labeled her as a "demanding diva" who lashes out at her employees when she doesn't get her way.
An individual who understands what goes on behind the scenes revealed the singer's "ego is growing more inflated all the time with every hit single and each award."
"She gets away with believing she's the grand dame of country music," they went on to say.
Per the insider, Underwood can also be dictatorial, and her rigorous tactics are now turning off individuals who have worked alongside and with her.
However, they justified Underwood's domineering behavior, arguing that it was all due to the strain placed on her.
"She freaks out if everything isn't flawless in her eyes. She constantly changes her mind and acts as though everyone should have understood what she was thinking."
According to the insider, even Carrie Underwood's husband, Mike Fisher, is at a loss on how to deal with her since she has grown out of control.
Even in their marriage, it is stated that she must always get her way.
"Only a select few are permitted to view her without makeup. She's turning into a beast to be around."

However, there is no concrete proof to back up the outlet's allegations, thus this news should be treated with caution.

Since no one has accused Underwood of these things, this just indicates that anything the outlet may have published was fabricated.
