Perry Farrell's health status led Jane Addiction to cancel the five dates of their 32 North American arena tour with Smashing Pumpkins.

Amid the bands' shows across North America, Jane's Addiction had another problem again as its frontman, Perry Farrell, injured himself after the recent Madison Square Garden appearance.

On Jane's Addiction's Twitter page, the band released the statement Farrell penned to announce the cancelation of the tours. He also took his time to share what happened to him that led to his injury.

"I have been in pain and discomfort and have been receiving rigorous physiotherapy that has done wonders. Due to doctors' orders, we regrettably and forcibly have to cancel the following shows: Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, as well as Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City," the message reads.

Farrell's injury reportedly affects his ability to perform. Thus, they had to come up with the decision to cancel their appearance.

Instead of Jane's Addiction, Our Lady of Peace will replace the band for the following three shows before the band's expected to return during the Cleveland show on Saturday.

Although Farrell felt truly frustrated and sad, he needs to focus on his health, for now, to allow himself to mend before continuing the tour.

Amid these, the frontman expressed how happy he felt as he was already able to share rock vibes with fans.

Jane's Addiction Temporarily Lost Dave Navarro, As Well

Before Farrell injured himself, Jane's Addiction had already lost its guitarist, Dave Navarro, who decided to skip the tour due to his long battle against COVID-19.

Navarro shared in a since-deleted Instagram post that he has been struggling with the lingering effects of COVID-19 since December. At that time, he revealed that he started doing several things amid his recovery, including meditation, yoga, and spiritual practices.

He missed the Welcome to Rockville festival and had to be absent during Jane's Addiction's appearance at the Lollapalooza festival and tours with the Smashing Pumpkins.

Despite taking a break from music, Navarro has been spending his time improving his mental health through an art collaboration with LA artist PADHiA. The duo created fine art, street art, and prints, under the name Duel Diagnosis.

Navarro and Farrell's band first disbanded in 1992, but the split led Porno for Pyros to debut.
