Speaking to his 41.1 million followers on Twitter, Horan had pretty thrilling news to share.

"Hello, Lovers! It's Niall here! It's been a while, which I know you are very aware of. But I just want to give you an update as to what's going on: I'm back," he announced.

"I've got new music coming in the new year that I'm really, really proud of. I appreciate you being so patient with me while I've done it. I'm shooting The Voice at the moment, which airs next year - we go live in May. I have a new album, too," he revealed.

The upcoming project would be his third album so far, the sequel to his 2020 album "Heartbreak Weather."

But Niall Horan's new album isn't the only thing that he has proudly announced.

"Something that I've wanted to do forever is festivals. I've never really had the opportunity to do it. We wil; be announcing some festivals in the next couple of days, weeks, and months for next year which I'm really excited about. Can't wait to get back on the road and see you guys all over the world and have a lot of fun," the singer furthered.
