Takeoff was tragically shot dead on November 1, 2022. He was 28 years old.

Takeoff, one-third of the extremely popular rap trio Migos, was reportedly killed in a shooting at a Houston bowling alley named 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston. The news was initially reported by TMZ.

A fight came out during a dice game, and someone on the scene allegedly opened fire. It then struck Takeoff in the neck or head.

Kirshnik Khari Ball, the rapper's true name, was declared dead at the scene.

After the altercation, bandmate Quavo shouted for aid, according to a video acquired by TMZ. Others gathered around Takeoff's body, including Quavo, who was wearing an orange shirt. They attempted to move him at first, but Quavo continued to plead for assistance.

At the time of the incident, 40 to 50 individuals were present at the bowling alley, and at least two others were hurt. They were taken to a nearby hospital, and their present status is unclear. Quavo was not hurt.

Authorities have not released any information regarding probable suspects in the incident and have stated that the victim's identification will not be released until his family is contacted.

Takeoff posted a picture of himself at the bowling alley on his Instagram Story only hours before his death. He also dropped the music video for his new single "Messy" yesterday.
