The death of Migos member Takeoff has rocked the rap community, and Desiigner wants nothing more to do with it anymore. The number of rappers getting killed this year has risen in an alarming rate, after all.

After the tragedy, Desiigner went live and renounced rap forever, pointing to plaques commemorating his former work and yelling that this version of him is done. He continued to rage against the lifestyle, even going so far as to declare, "I can't live like this."

Desiigner concluded the video by sending an R.I.P. to Takeoff and other deceased rappers, including PnB Rock, Biggie, and Nipsey Hussle, as well as condolences to Quavo, Offset, DJ Durel, and the rest of Quality Control.

Given that Takeoff was promoting his "Messy" video just 24 hours prior, the entire sad conclusion is a strange twist.

Houston police is still investigating the circumstances surrounding Takeoff's death, which occurred early Tuesday morning.

No one is currently in arrest, and the conditions of the two additional shot individuals are unknown. What seems to be an interesting point here is that Takeoff was in a private party, so the shooter could be one of the 40 guests on that private event.

Meanhwile, following Takeoff's terrible murder, Deion Sanders has forbidden his Jackson State football teammates from leaving their Houston hotel rooms this weekend. He made this demand in an emotional statement.

The NFL Hall of Famer addressed the fatal shooting of the Migos artist in Houston with his players, pointing out that the crime occurred in the same city where they will face the Texas Southern Tigers on Saturday.

The 55-year-old indicated to his colleagues that they may need to make dramatic lifestyle adjustments to avert such occurrences. Sanders added that to avoid the same fate, people cannot kick it with the same guys they kicked it with before. They cannot associate in the same realms with which they have already associated. This is sad.

On November 1, 2022, Takeoff was shot and died at a bowling alley named 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas.

According to TMZ, Takeoff was playing dice with Quavo and others around 2:30 a.m. when a brawl broke out. During the argument, shots were fired, and Takeoff was reportedly struck in the head or neck. He was declared deceased at the scene.

Two additional people were shot, but their current situations are unknown. Quavo did not receive any injuries in the event. Videos and photographs of him standing over Takeoff's body were sadly posted online the morning of the Migos member's death.

Takeoff entered the rap scene as a cheat code for the multiplatinum-selling group Migos, which also included his uncle Quavo (with whom he recently formed the combo Unc & Phew) and his cousin Offset. The trio rose to prominence in 2014 with songs such as "Versace," which garnered an early Drake remix and endorsement. After that, the group continued to produce classics, as heard on projects like as No Label II and the Culture series, among others.
