Music icons Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks are joining forces to give fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience by headlining a joint concert.

The powerful duo announced they would be heading out to the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Apr. 8, 2023, for their "Two Icons, One Night" concert; fans can nab tickets on Nov. 11, reports say.

Joel is a singer-songwriter as well as a pianist and composer. He is referred to by many of his fans as the "Piano Man," after his hit song of the same name.

The 73-year-old has been in the music industry for decades, with several albums under his belt.

Meanwhile, Nicks is also a singer-songwriter and producer. She was also part of the rock band Fleetwood Mac until she went on to pursue her solo career full-time.

According to The Dallas Morning News, the Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones and Arlington Mayor Jim Ross shared the news through a press conference.

"What an amazing event! We're so fired up about it," said Jones.

"The spectacular one-night-only show marks the first time the two have ever performed on the same stage in Texas," the organizers at the press release said.

The two were accompanied by Anthony Nicolaidis. They posed for photos with the signature Dallas Cowboys jersey that read "Joel, 23."

The two solo performers reportedly never shared the same stage prior to the "Two Icons, One Night" concert, slated for the following year, which was a pleasant surprise to their fans.

Full-Steam Ahead

In the meantime, the pair are doing their own concerts throughout the country as well as shows abroad.

According to reports, Joel will embark on his tour, going through Atlanta, Florida, New Zealand, Australia, and London. This will come after he finishes up in Madison Square Garden residency in New York City.

As for Nicks, she has been busy with her own tour. The 74-year-old has a couple of dates left from her fall tour, including one in Texas and another in Phoenix, both were rescheduled from October.

Despite the two being in their 70s, they are still active in making music and touring, just as they did before.

It seems like they do not have any plans of stopping either. According to reports Joel even declared that he has no plans of slowing down just yet.

"I've become very comfortable with that concept of maybe you just don't retire. Maybe it just keeps going because people want to keep seeing it," he said. "And it's a great job. I have a great band. I play great venues. And I make great money. So what's wrong with that?"

These are sentiments that Nicks shared back in 2017 with Rolling Stone. She added that she has a lot of projects lined up and she is planning to do more.

"I want to do a miniseries for the stories of Rhiannon and the gods of Wales, which I think would be this fantastic thing, but I don't have to retire from being a rock star to go and do that. I can fit it all in."
