For the first time, Adele heard a fan pronounce her name correctly.

The truth has been spoken during Adele's recent Q&A with fans in Los Angeles as part of the promotions for her "I Drink Wine" music video. During this event, she praised a fan who correctly called out her name.

Annie from London asked her about her songwriting before ending her question with "Cheers babe, love you."

"Where is she from, Enfield or something? Love that. She said my name perfectly!" the 34-year-old "Rolling in the Deep" singer shared.

Adele added that the moderator also asked her before the start of the Q&A how to pronounce her name correctly. It turns out that, instead of "ah-dell," Adele's name should be pronounced as "uh-dale."

She said that there should be an emphasis on the second syllable.

Adele On Her Road to EGOT?

Aside from revealing the correct pronunciation of her name, the "Chasing Pavements" hitmaker also talked about whether she is interested in becoming an EGOT after scoring an Emmy, Oscar, and several Grammy awards. That leaves her with a Tony to complete the status.

"I don't think I've seen enough [Broadway] as a grown-up to know if I would want to do it. I was wondering, 'Do I just move the show from Vegas to Broadway and win the Tony?' I actually prefer the sound of an EGO than an EGOT," she went on, as quoted by PEOPLE.

Tony can be won when a singer act on Broadway. For Adele's part, she revealed she almost scored that award as she considered playing Rose's role in "Gypsy." It is based on the 1957 memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee.

As of press time, she already has a total of 15 Grammy Awards. She also has an Oscar for her work in the James Bond theme song, "Skyfall."

Last month, she took a massive step when she bagged an Emmy for Best Outstanding Variety Special for her "One Night Only" concert special aired on CBS.

Although she got what it takes to be part of Broadway, her schedule does not allow her to do so. She reportedly received advice from Bette Midler, who played Rose in the 1993 TV version of "Gypsy."

The actress told her she would not be able to work on it because of the demanding schedule. Adele also admitted that she is lazy and does not have the stamina to do such work.

But she does not close the door if another opportunity arrives.
