Harry Styles is on a roll. After starring in Olivia Wilde's "Don't Worry Darling," he is now starring in a new movie, "My Policeman," which is slated to premiere on Nov. 4.

According to reports, the "Watermelon Sugar" singer will appear in the period movie which follows a married policeman who has a secret relationship with a museum curator, Patrick.

The movie is based on the 2012 novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts.

It appears that the former One Direction member has connected with his character, because he had some deep reflections about the role and movie.

"I had such a wonderful experience, making it and being a part of it. It's something I'm really proud to be a part of," he said during the premiere.

"And working with David, and Emma [Corrin], and Michael, and everyone throughout the process was... It was a really, really special thing for me."

Although Styles has relatively kept tight-lipped about the upcoming movie, he shared his thought about it for the first time.

"I think the story's about wasted time, and that it's never too late to follow your heart and do what you want," he reflected.

"I hope that people take that away from it. It's never too late to follow your happiness and be brave in love," he added.

According to reports, the 2012 book is described as a "visually transporting, heart-stopping portrait of three people caught up in the shifting tides of history, liberty, and forgiveness."

Singer to Actor

In recent years, the "As It Was" singer has been taking on more movie roles.

His first appearance in a movie was the 2017 film, "Dunkirk." Albeit it was a relatively small role, Styles' delivery came across and impressed film veterans.

The movie's director, Christopher Nolan, commended his performance, "The truth is, I cast Harry because he fit the part wonderfully and truly earned a seat at the table."

Many are now wondering if the 28-year-old singer has plans of switching career paths and pursuing an acting career altogether.

However, as of this writing, Styles is yet to confirm nor deny anything. He is currently busy with "Love On Tour," which is expected to end in July 2023 in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Aside from touring, Styles also recently released his third studio album, "Harry's House," which achieved critical and commercial success.

In 2016, after One Direction announced its indefinite hiatus, he began working on his solo projects which have been well-received by both peers and fans.
