In the span of four days, Takeoff's death and the investigations that are currently ongoing have been taking over the headlines.

As soon as TMZ broke the tragic headlines, people were in mourning over the life and talent lost.

Formally known as Kirshnik Khari Ball, Takeoff was fatally shot after a violent altercation turned bloody in a bowling and billiard alley in Houston, Texas, last Nov. 1, 2022.

Since his passing, many have given attention to the rather unpopular member (compared to Migos and Offset) of the Atlanta trio Migos.

For context, Takeoff is the youngest among the three. Quavo is the oldest, being 31; offset trails behind at 30, while Takeoff is the youngest.

Takeoff's cause of death was already revealed. According to Billboard, the Harris County coroner's office has confirmed that Takeoff died of "penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm."

US Weekly-exclusively obtained documents say that the rapper's death has been ruled a homicide, but it did not disclose how many gunshot wounds the rapper sustained during the senseless shootout.

Meanwhile, Houston Police District is confident that someone already knows who the suspect is. A TMZ video shows that the suspect was seen standing near Takeoff moments before the altercation transpired.

However, the suspect in the murder of Takeoff remains at large as of this writing.

In a new report from the publication, TMZ's law enforcement sources say that the authority is currently figuring out what caused the violent altercation in the first place.

Per a Rolling Stone report, Harris County officers noted that Quavo was apparently riled up, frustrated from losing on a game of dice.

Sources reveal that Quavo and the people whom he had been angry with took the commotion outside and began "jawboning" on who could win against who in a basketball match.

As of this writing, no arrests had been made on the person of interest that the police had been eyeing. However, it was snapped in another footage that the man who raised a gun moments after the shooting is who ultimately killed the Migos rapper.

While Quality Control Music has already released its statement on Takeoff's death, both Quavo and Offset remain mum on the incident.
