Bio 

Bryan Guy Adams was born on November 5, 1959 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. At a young age, Adams was musically talented as a child. He learned how to play the guitar on his own. Adams' father worked at the Canadian army, and is a previous UN peacekeeping observer, and a diplomat. Adams' father's occupation influenced the frequent relocation of the family. After the divorce of his parents, he lived with his mother, north of Vancouver. 

At 16 years old, Adams dropped out of school to pursue a full-time career in the music industry. At this age, he was able to perform as a lead vocalist for the glam rock band, also, from his native Canada, Sweeney Todd. Adams, then, proceeded to create music material for Sweeney Todd's album, 1977's "If Wishes Were Horses."

It wasn't until the release of his third studio album that Bryan Adams acheived massive success in the music industry. That album was called, "Cuts Like a Knife" (1983). This album also paved the way for Adams to establish a music market base in the United States. He catapulted to international stardom, though, upon the release of his fourth album called, "Reckless" in 1984. Adams garnered his first nomination for a Grammy award for his "Reckless" album. "Reckless" sold four million copies back then.

A fifth studio album called "Into the Fire" soon followed forth for the singer. It has been widely well-known that this album has always been regarded as having a social conscious theme. The top ten hit, "Heat of the Night," was released as a single off "Into the Fire." "Heat of the Night" got a Grammy nomination nod. "Into the Fire" eventually became a certified platinum album. 

Adams' estimated net worth is at $75 million.
