Simon Cowell has requested Britney Spears to collaborate with him again ten years after they both served on the American version of "The X Factor's" judging panel. If the show is revived, will Britney Spears be back? Cowell certainly hopes so!

The music mogul, 63, has publicly urged pop singer Britney, 40, to consider participating on one of his shows now that she is no longer under conservatorship, stating that she has great ideas about how to launch someone's career."

He told E! News that they actually spent so much time on the phone discussing X Factor prior to filming. There is a side of Britney that few people know about,  he said. He added that he was on the phone with her for two to three hours each time and found her was quite intelligent and had wonderful suggestions on how to launch another person's career, which is crucial if she is going to be a judge on one of these shows.

This is why he's hoping she can return and perform with him. It would be incredible. He cherish her, he added. She is truly fascinating and incredibly gifted.

Saturday marks one year since Britney Spears was released from her 13-year conservatorship. Her conservators had authority over her financial and medical concerns, as well as her job and key personal problems, such as when she could see her 17- and 16-year-old sons Sean and Jayden.

Britney went on The "X Factor" around this time, but she is now free to determine her own career path. It follows Cowell's statement that there is a "good chance" that "The X Factor" would return to the UK or US in 2024.

The judge of the talent show is reportedly more inclined for the series to return to the United States, where Cowell has a good working relationship with NBC on "America's Got Talent."

If he decides to revive "The X Factor," the judges would be industry insiders, such as A&R personnel, rather than musicians, because they are better judges of talent and less envious of talented new performers.

Cowell also noted that A&R people are not as 'ridiculously costly' as certain stars, and he acknowledges that if the show were to return, he would take it 'back to fundamentals' after it became'very convoluted'.
