Anais Gallagher has addressed the criticism around "nepotism babies" and acknowledged that she is "grateful" for the "luxury" that her upbringing has afforded her by being the daughter of Noel Gallagher and Meg Matthews.

Anais, 22, knew for a fact that being the offspring of Oasis musician Noel and Meg Mathews allowed her to experience opportunities and connections typical of "nepotism babies," or youngsters born into wealthy or famous families and for that, she's grateful.

She said that she would be "tone deaf and irresponsible'"if she did not acknowledge the "leg up" in life that her upbringing has provided her, stating that she will be grateful for it for the rest of her life.

She revealed in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Online that she will be eternally grateful to her parents for the life they have given her, whether it's the ability to attend college or have surreal employment prospects. She added that she is immensely appreciative for everything they have provided her.

Anais stated that there is "justification" for hiring nepotism children in response to criticism that they have access to opportunities that others do not.

She stated, however, that she feels emphasis should be placed on companies to hire people from diverse backgrounds, rather than on nepotism babies.

She revealed that for her, it is quite unjustified to attack someone personally and question if they are a hard worker because one never truly know somebody. She added that it is unkind to pass judgment on people one does not know, and to be cruel to them. At the same time, however, she said that firms should make sure they are hiring because a candidate is the best for the position. It should be up to employers to perform the proper investigation and consider who is the best applicant for the position, and not the nepotism babies, she explained.

Anais, who was promoting the animal welfare initiative Paws For Thought, went on to describe the pressure she feels because of her famous parents. She revealed that it doesn't affect her because there will always be people with a bad attitude. Her parents do not exert as much pressure on her  to be wildly successful as they do on her to be a hard worker, have strong morals, and be grounded and nice. She is the one who put a lot of pressure on herself to not take things for granted, to be respectful, and to work hard. Ultimately however, she does not care if people believe she's deserved or undeserving.
