An old clip of Camila Cabello performing "I'll Be Home For Christmas" at the White House in 2021 went viral on social media after fans noticed that she was mispronouncing a word.

Instead of pronouncing it as "Chrismas," Cabello was singing "Quismois," or at least that's how the fans are saying it sounds like.

Other clips of Cabello singing songs with the word "Christmas" in it are available online, and audiences have found a pattern.

Fans found another clip of Cabello singing the same song, and mispronouncing the same word, but during a different event.

According to reports, the singer was performing at Michael Buble's "Chrismas in the City" event.

Everyone found the audio worthy of becoming a meme, because TikTok is now full of clips of random people performing and lipsynching to Cabello's version of "I'll Be Home For Christmas."

Take A Joke

Cabello herself got wind of what was happening over the Internet and took part in the joke.

She posted a video on Tiktok that featured two versions of herself, seating oppositely. She captioned it with: "Me before recording my version of I'll be home for Christmas (quismois)."

And the scene depicted was supposed to be Cabello "coaching" herself in preparation for her singing the Christmas song cover.

"Yeah, so I hear you're recording a new Christmas cover? That's really exciting," said a version of Cabello wearing a suit.

The other version of herself, wearing a sheer black top with a pink bow in front, nodded enthusiastically.

"Okay, so we're just gonna practice some phrasing. So repeat after me, 'I'll be home for Christmas.'"

The other followed suit, singing "I'll be home for Christmas," but mispronounces the word.

"Try again." And the other version tried several times until Cabello's two versions sat in silence, one looking particularly frustrated and the other confused.

.Fans replied to the singer's post with several memes, still not letting up from the joke, while some were appreciative of her taking part of the joke.

"She's such a good sport," a fan wrote.

"Camila's sense of humor is unmatched. I love an unbothered queen who can poke fun at herself and be a super good sport. Merry quismois everyone!" Another tweeted.

"The way she handles criticism about stuff like this is literally so admirable! i stand the right person," another added.
