Ringo Starr is making his famous hand gesture last a lifetime.

The Beatles' fans continue to support the band even though decades have already passed since it broke up. Its surviving members have been focusing on their individual endeavors, with Starr being the latest member to create a buzz.

Multiple news outlets confirmed that Starr aims to give some fans the chance to own a life-sized of his signature peace greeting.

On Tuesday, the auction site juliensauctions.com confirmed that 500 sculptures of the hand would be sold at the event. Each piece has been signed by Starr himself and is available in either bronze or stainless steel.

The statue, which is named "Ringo Peace and Love Statues," will reportedly make the musician's signature greeting for the last five decades last for a long time.

"Starr has delivered this message in many forms: from his annual request for fans to join him in making the hand symbol on his birthday, to the 8-foot tall, 800-pound stainless steel statue dedicated to him in Beverly Hills, CA, and beyond," it said.

As quoted by Ultimate Classic Rock and Culture, it added that the proceeds of the auction would be given to the Lotus Foundation.

The organization provides to other charities that work on children's welfare, animal welfare, domestic violence, and substance abuse, to name a few. Lotus Foundation famously helps groups that focus on disaster relief and world health, as well.

He and his wife, Barbara Starkey, founded the group in 1998.

The 250 versions of "Ringo Peace and Love Statues" in steel are priced at $5000. Meanwhile, the bronze version costs a whopping $2,000 each.

Ringo Starr Almost Joined Another Band

Before Starr came, Pete Best served as The Beatles' first drummer.

In the memoir by John Lennon's then-girlfriend, Cynthia, she revealed that Starr was part of another UK-based band, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. But when Best started feeling ill, he sat in with the band.

He eventually left his first band, leading The Beatles to offer him a job. Another band reportedly tried to cast him, but The Beatles offered him more and said he would have a record contract.

In one of his interviews with Modern Drummer, Starr said he would want to starve with a better band, and he found the perfect place in The Beatles.
