It might be the end of Elton John's Yellow Brick Road as he bids goodbye to his fans one last time.

But the music icon, as theatrical as he is, is not going out without a huge bang! He is bidding goodbye in the grandest way possible - at the Glastonbury Festival 2023!

According to the festival's most recent post, Elton John will be headlining the Glastonbury Festival's Pyramid Stage on Jun. 25, 2023.

Per the tweet, the performance will be the last show that Elton John would be on for the final UK show for his Farewell Tour.

In a statement from the Glastonbury Festival website, its main organizer, Emily Eavis, shared her excitement about having the music icon on the highly-anticipated annual summer music festival in the United Kingdom.

"It gives me enormous pleasure to let you know that the one and only Elton John will be making his first-ever Glastonbury appearance, headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday night next year," she said. This will be the final UK show of Elton's last ever tour, so we will be closing the Festival and marking this huge moment in both of our histories with the mother of all send offs. We are so very happy to finally bring the Rocket Man to Worthy Farm!"

Publicized as his last-ever show, Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour will cap off on the biggest musical event in the United Kingdom.

Among the most pressed female artists, Taylor Swift was also among the reported ones. Especially with the rollout of her upcoming mega studio tour, Swift is overdue to appear on the Glastonbury stage.

As for Glastonbury 2023 Tickets, fans have been voicing out their frustration online in the past few months as tickets for Glastonbury Festival have dramatically increased since then.

According to Variety, a ticket to the event in 2020 only cost $299 or £265, on top of the £5 booking fee and a £50 deposit. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic that stumped the live music industry all over the world, festival organizers have adjusted the rates.
