Aerosmith had to cancel its recent Las Vegas show due to Steven Tyler's health issue.

Starting in June, Aerosmith has been performing in different venues as part of its "Deuces Are Wild" residency. For this month, the band originally planned to meet its fans at the Dolby Live theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas, but it ended up postponing it.

On its Twitter page, Aerosmith expressed its disappointment in a statement as it confirmed the cancelation of the Las Vegas show. It revealed that the lead was feeling unwell, leaving him "too sick to perform."

"He is expected to make a full recovery for Monday night's Las Vegas show. We sincerely apologize for the last-minute notice," it continued.

It added that refunds would be automatically made by Ticketmaster.com. Other refunds will be offered at the point of purchase.

Fans immediately sent positive messages to Tyler as they pray for his recovery. But others also showed their dismay as the last-minute cancelation costed them a huge amount of money.

What Happened to Steven Tyler?

It was not the first time the band had to cancel its shows, though.

At the start of the Las Vegas residency, it postponed the schedules again because of Tyler's health. It divulged that the frontman suffered a relapse while managing his pain after undergoing foot surgery.

Tyler entered a rehabilitation facility and was asked to complete 30 days inside the venue. But he reportedly stayed longer due to his desire to surely recover before his discharge.

After more than a month, a news outlet revealed that the frontman reached a healthy weight and became sober and clean again. He marked his discharge by going to Island Creek Oysters in Duxbury, Massachusetts and getting oysters. The restaurant uploaded photos of him, saying that they love it when their friends "visit" them at work.

Tyler has been open about his substance abuse struggles. Before his most recent admission, he received an intervention in 1988. His Aerosmith bandmates set it up for him to help him with his drug addiction.
