Both SZA and Doja Cat fans have been hounding the former on the whereabouts of the highly-anticipated comeback collaboration between the two Grammy-winning artists.

SZA, who clinched her first Gramophone earlier this year because of her duet with Doja Cat on "Kiss Me More," promised her fans that there would be another team-up between the two of them in her next album.

Doja Cat, who has been on a hiatus, is also busy prepping for her next album, which is expected to be released next year.

Earlier this year, during the Mad Cool Festival, SZA promised her fans this:

"Want to know a secret? You all want to know who's on this song? It'll be like our secret, right?" SZA asked, referring to her performance of "Bloodstain/Shirt." "The hint is we already have a song together. Her name starts with a 'D' and it rhymes with Soulja."

Everyone knows that it was Doja Cat - that is why, everyone was panicking and confused when they saw the official tracklist of the SZA's new album "SOS," and Doja Cat's remix is nowhere to be found.

Fans have expressed their frustration on social media, even Doja Cat fans saying that they will be pulling support from the album, because of the now-broken promise.

"Shirt" was released last month, along with an action-packed music video with LaKeith Stanfield. However, a Doja Cat remix is nowhere to be found too.

Upon checking the actual hefty 23-song tracklist, the song "Bloodstain" was also not included. Now, shortly after the ruckus had reached a boiling point on Twitter, SZA has finally cleared the air. Speaking to "Nessa on Air" on Hot97, the topic was brought up.

"She had surgery. She had to have that emergency vocal cords surgery and she wasn't ready at the time that we needed to get that song done. There was like a crossfire between her management and my management, they had told us that it was done, but it wasn't actually done. There was a lot of confusion," SZA revealed. "But I don't know I hope for that and I'm still a major fan of her, and her artistry, and I think she's so incredible, I would love to get her on the deluxe, and I'd love to get a few people on the deluxe hopefully will see, you know when verses come in, they come in chile."

Surely if the track did not come at the original, rest assured that the track would most likely be on the Deluxe Version.

Meanwhile, aside from Doja Cat, another song with Don Toliver was revealed to not be included on the final cut of the album.
