Mariah Carey brought her daughter, Monroe, in to perform a touching Christmas duet with her in her concert at Scotiabank Area in Toronto, Canada.

"This is my baby girl, here. Eleven years ago, I got the greatest gift," said Carey during her introduction.

"I don't have birthdays, but the birthing day was the greatest gift ever when I had my twins, Roc and Roe," she continued referring to her twins, Monroe and Morrocan.

"We've been working on this one for a minute," added the Christmastime superstar before she performed "Away in a Manger" with the 11-year-old, as they wore matching shimmering white gowns and tiaras.

After their sweet duet, Carey kissed her daughter before Monroe walked offstage.

The pair's performance marked their very first onstage duet, which thrilled and delighted fans.

Fans React

Fans can't help but bring up Carey's performance with her mother Patricia Carey in 2010.

"This is full circle," wrote a fan, linking a video of the mother-daughter duet that aired for ABC's Christmas Special.

Another fan joked, "the prophecy has been fulfilled."

Some pointed out that Carey's daughter was indeed walking in her footsteps as she too hit some whistle notes. "Did Monroe just whistle?" A fan wrote, surprised.

"Miss Monroe inherited the gift!" Another added.

"That video with Mariah and her daughter is lovely. There is nothing like a mother and daughter love."

Carey shares her twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon, with whom she split up back in 2014, Daily Mail UK noted.

However, this is not Monroe's first time performing with her mother, as she and her twin brother recently joined Carey during this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, where they performed "All I Want for Christmas is You," reports say.

And even before that, Monroe joined Carey onstage in several of her shows back in 2017 and 2018. She and Moroccan would perform "Always Be My Baby" several times before.

While it looks like they were just doing it for fun back then, it seems like Monroe is definitely enjoying her time onstage.

Her vocal range definitely is something to look out for, fans are almost too sure that she will be the next big superstar, taking after her mother.

This will also not come as a surprise, given that the mother-daughter duo is thick as thieves.

Carey shared several pictures of herself with Monroe rocking their natural curls on Instagram back in October.
