After Drake was the target of a "Saturday Night Live" skit that made fun of him for singing about his ex-girlfriends, SZA recently opened out about the status of her relationship with her ex-boyfriend.

The "All the Stars" singer performed songs from her new album "S.O.S." as the musical guest on the late-night comedy program on December 3.

She was shocked to witness "United Tings of Aubrey," a comedy in which the show's presenter Keke Palmer and other female cast members make fun of her ex.

These ladies portrayed Champagne Papi's previous lovers, who filed a class action lawsuit after being mentioned in his lyrics. Additionally, they promised to pay any woman who claimed that Drake had "mentioned" her, their romance, or its potential in one of his future songs after they had dated and broken up.

Then SZA, whose true name is Solana Imani Rowe, spoke with Big Tigger on about the skit in the most recent "Check In" episode.

Regarding her previous romance with the Canadian rapper-actor, she said, "In an odd way, I was thinking, 'Did they know?'"

"However, they didn't invite me to participate. Nobody made any comments. I thought it was crazy when I first saw it.

The 33-year-old Missouri native also compared Drizzy to a character from "Mean Girls."

"It's just kind of like, 'Have you or anyone you know been personally victimized?'" referring to Regina George, the iconic mean popular girl character played by Rachel McAdams.

"He's like a cool kid, you know. When you're the popular kid in school, it's entertaining. It's entertaining, but you sometimes are taking losses in the midst of that entertainment."

In the same interview, SZA also confirmed she and Drake dated in the late 2000s and have always had a good relationship.

She also received a warning when the "In My Feelings" rapper revealed their past relationship in his guest verse on 21 Savage's song, "Mr. Right Now."

Despite it, the "Normal Girl" singer revealed no hard feelings for them, and they always have been since they broke up.

She went on to gush that every time Drake would mention her, it was always positive.

"He's never said anything negative about me. I'm grateful for that. I think highly of him."

Right now, it's unknown why they split up. Drake nevertheless made the shift to rap during the height of their romance, playing the role of Jimmy Brooks on "Degrassi: The Next Generation" and working with well-known musicians like Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and Eminem.
