Still insisting that it was Lanez who shot him in the foot, Megan Thee Stallion also confessed that she had lied to authorities and media outlets about the origin of her injuries at the time. She also stressed that her "intimate" relationship was Lanez was nothing but incidental to the shooting that landed her at Cedar-Sinai Hospital, undergoing major surgery.

"This whole story was about who I'm having sex with, and I don't understand why that matters," Megan told the court. The female rapper is also stern in putting out suggestions that it was her best friend Kelsey Harris who fired the gun at her in a jealous rage for her alleged intimate relationship with Lanez, pivoting the blame out on the Canadian rapper.

Per Megan, formally known as Megan Pete, Tory Lanez apparently came out and spewed many lies, debunking that she was not actually shot and not him being the shooter - spinning the entire fiasco as a major sex scandal.

Pete, in the span of two years, has been the subject of online harassment, threats, and other mean things online, apart from feeling excluded in the community.

In her testimony, Megan accused Lanez of apologizing as early as they heard sirens bellowing in the street. While Megan was filled with blood on the streets, her foot badly injured, Lanez was making a plea for his life.

"He's saying, 'Please don't say anything. I'll give y'all a million dollars. I can't go to jail. I already got caught with a gun before,'" Megan revealed.

However, people started questioning Megan on why she initially hid the real reason for her injuries. Apparently, it was out of pity toward Lanez, who is Black.

"This was the height of police brutality and George Floyd, and if I said this man just shot me, I didn't know if they might shoot first and ask questions later. In the Black community, in my community, it's not really acceptable to be cooperating with police officers," she testified.
