Many fans are excited for the release of Lana Del Rey's upcoming album titled "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard" which will drop in a few months and she recently did a what fans online users call "petty move" on his ex-boyfriend.

According to the New York Post, most singers target cities that have many people around the area to promote their music like Los Angeles and New York City, but the musician did the exact opposite as she tried to spread the word of her upcoming project in the hometown of her ex-boyfriend, Sean Larkin.

"There's only one and it's in Tulsa," the "Video Games" hitmaker wrote alongside a selfie of herself posing in front of the billboard located in the Oklahoma city.

She then took to the comment section to further discuss her recent move, saying, "It's personal."

Although the pop star didn't blatantly name her ex-boyfriend, it appears that the album is mostly about him based on the clues she dropped over the past few weeks.

On December 7, the Grammy-nominated singer released the title track and the announcement of her new record, which is the same day of Larkin's birthday.

After the photo made rounds on social media, many fans were sent into frenzy as they couldn't believe Del Rey would make such move.

"Lana Del Rey putting up 1 billboard to promote her new album, in Tulsa Oklahoma, where her ex lives, is the type of petty that I LIVE for," one wrote.

"she's on my level of pettyness and I'm here for it!" another one wrote.

Lana Del Rey, Sean Larkin History + New Album

Sean Larkin is a cop based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He's also a reality star as he previously appeared on the show "Live PD" and a podcaster who co-hosted "Coptales and Cocktails."

In a previous interview with the New York Times, the policeman gave fans an insight into their "normal" relationship, saying he previously brought Lana Del Rey to his hometown to hang out with his law enforcement friends and their spouses.

"We all Super Bowl partied together, dinners and things like that... Normal things couples do with their friends," he said.

Their relationship didn't last as they broke up in 2020 because of their "busy schedules." They were together for six months and lived far from each other.

The singer's new album, set to release on March 10, is expected to be more aggressive than her previous releases.

The 37-year-old musician said her new project is "very wordy" and there's "no room for color."
