Cher took a trip down memory lane when she came on the "Kelly Clarkson Show" on Dec. 26, and let's just say it was a hilarious story.

The 70s was a time to be alive: music was booming and the fun never ended-or at least that's what it felt like to be in Willie Nelson's tour bus.

Cher went on Kelly Clarkson's show to promote her fragrance line with Scent Beauty called "Decades."

The fragrance collection is what its name suggests, decades-themed. The collection boasts four scents: '60s couture, '70s couture, '80s couture, and '90s couture.

According to reports, '60s is a Chypre Flora blend, while '70s is an amber-woody blend. '80s is fruity-floral with notes of mandarin and tonka bean, and '90s is floral with notes of peach nectar and sandalwood.

Funnily enough, Clarkson commented on '70s couture, noting how she did not expect it to smell that way: "I was shocked the '70s didn't smell like marijuana."

"I was like, oh, this one will obviously smell like Willie Nelson's bus," the talk show host added jokingly.

However, while she meant it as a simple joke, it almost seemed like Cher was instantly transported back to the '70s in the country star's bus.

"Oh my God, I've been on Willie Nelson's bus, it smells exactly like marijuana," the 76-year-old said.

The "American Idol" alum, too, had her own experience with Nelson's bus, because she added, "I went on Wille Nelson's bus and I got a contact high."

Although it is highly possible that the bus Cher and Clarkson entered are probably two different buses, given how many years had passed since the '70s, it appears that Nelson has kept the vibe going.

"It was a terrible old bus," Cher recalled. "But he was great. And just... drugs everywhere."

The "Since U Been Gone" singer joked: "When you walked out you were definitely hungry."

Defying the Decades

Regardless of what Nelson's bus smelled like, it's safe to assume that Cher's '70s couture scent smells nothing like the bus-and with good reason, too.

The singer made sure to carefully curate the four scents, keeping in mind what each decade felt like, and tried to translate them into scents.

"First of all, I'm astonished that I have been famous for sixty years. When I started everything was changing, and just like music, art, and clothing, perfume also changed," Cher said about the collection. "These scents represent those Decades for me. There was electricity in the air and life smelled like excitement."

Aside from Cher's take on the different decades, the founder and CEO of Scent Beauty, Steve Mormoris, noted that the scents were also inspired by Cher herself, as she conquered decade after decade.

"We are thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with the iconic Cher. Following the launch of Cher Eau de Couture, we wanted to provide her fans with a complete fragrance wardrobe that embodies her star-power throughout the decades," Mormoris said.

"The Decades Collection takes consumers on an olfactive journey embodying Cher's famous personas from the 60's through the 90's."
