Iggy Azalea's music has recently gotten reworkings from the likes of "Barack Obama" and a bluegrass band, so why not give "Fancy" an alt-rock piano spin? Over the weekend, The Killers took on Azalea's song of the summer at the V Festival in England during their headlining set, making it a tender ballad.

But, first, of course, Killers lead singer Brandon Flowers teased the audience, pretending like he was about to perform a work-in-progress of his own.

"We've sort of been working on something and we wanted to show you a little bit of it, if you don't mind hearing it," he said. "You don't mind, do you?"

Flowers, sitting on a piano bench and playing the few opening chords to the track, then introduces drummer Ronnie Vannucci to the front of the stage to perform an interpretive dance.

Soon, it's clear that Flowers isn't performing a new Killers song but is instead covering Azalea with a slowed down, tender take on "Fancy." All the while, Vannucci is proving things aren't so serious as he channels Napoleon Dynamite in his moves, arrowing toward his crotch and performing a few bird wing flaps with his hands, not unlike the Happy Hands Club.

Oh, and Flowers applies "Fancy" to his current state, changing the chorus lyrics "from L.A. to Tokyo" to "From Las Vegas to Staffordshire" because why not.

The Killers played back-to-back sets at the V Festival in England's Staffordshire and Chelmsford over the weekend. The band will next perform at the Glasgow Summer Sessions in Scotland on Aug. 19.
