You will recognize VX from his signature neon mask, with a V on one eye and an X on the other.

VX grew up partly in India and partly in New York. In New York, VX decided to study advanced biology and business in college. Unlike the stereotypical narrative of the artist who struggled through school, VX excelled in school. However, music remained the only thing that gave his life purpose.

Growing up, he had a diverse palette of music, including artists such as Outkast, Mobb Depp, and Nirvana. Although he has spent years exploring his Indian roots, he has yet to include an aspect of this side of his life in his music. It may be something he will consider in coming projects.

Other than creating music, VX loves traveling and oil painting. For him, traveling is a way of feeding his artistic soul and understanding different cultures and perspectives.

His musical journey started in the throes of the pandemic when the world was bleak, and everyone was trying to hang on to their sanity. His debut song is All I Need, which he wrote while trying to find his happy place amidst the pandemic.

All I Need is sweetness and honesty. Listening to it gives you boy-next-door vibes, an effect compounded by the whistling melody that comes in and out in the background. It is a song about a man who, after reminiscing on his previous relationship, decides he wants the love of his life back, "What I wouldn't do for a nickel and a dime, What I wouldn't do for me to cross your minds, What I wouldn't do for you to ring my line."

Despite the heavy message, All I Need remains light and happy. The song also made it to TikTok, with fans making more than ninety videos. The videos reflect the easy, cheerful nature of the music.

The second song that VX has released is called Leave Me On Read. If All I Need were the song VX would use to win a girl back, then Leave Me On Read would be the one he would use to tell a girl that he is completely fine without her.

Leave Me on Read has been created with basic hard-hitting drums, hypnotic synth sounds, and an unmissable guy singing "ooh." Some of the reasons VX gives for leaving his girl's messages unread on the song are genuine, while some remain debatable. He raps about being busy trying to make money and play music, showing how hard he works to build his craft.

Although VX's fans have had to wait for nearly two years, VX has an upcoming single in the works. One thing his fans can look forward to is his promise to use his original art and oil paintings as the cover art for all his upcoming work. Given his two previous songs, fans can only guess what genre he will be playing around with next. For details on his forthcoming work, fans can visit VX's Instagram channel and be on the lookout for music on all streaming platforms.
