Lizzo isn't here to please anyone with how she looks or what she does as she recently shared a video of herself firing back at the people who continues to criticize her body.

According to Billboard, the "Special" songstress took to her official TikTok account to share a video where she addressed the topic of bodies.

Donning a printed bikini and a high ponytail while at the beach, the musician began her video by saying the "discourse around bodies is officially tired."

Lizzo then pointed out several comments people have been facing and how critics change their tone, "I've seen comments go from, 'Oh my gosh, I liked you when you were thick. Why did you lose weight?' 'Oh my gosh, why did you get a BBL? I liked your body before.' 'Oh my gosh, you're so big. You need to lose weight but for your health'"

Later in the video, the 28-year-old pop star then calls out negative thinkers, asking them if they were okay and if they see the delusion.

To further explain what she felt, the "It's About Damn Time" hitmaker clarified that artists or public figures don't need to please or fit into other people's beauty standards because their sole purpose is to create art and share it with the world.

"This body is art. I'mma do whatever I want with this body. I wish that comments costed y'all money so we could see how much time we are f-ing wasting on the wrong thing. Can we leave that s*** back there please?" she added.

Lizzo Still Gets Hurt From Body-Shaming Comments

Although Lizzo presents herself as a strong woman who advocates for body positivity, there were times when she felt hurt by the comments she's been receiving from the public on a daily basis.

In a previous interview with Vanity Fair, the Grammy Award-winning star clarified that she has a healthy lifestyle and it's not only physical but also mentally and spiritually.

There were also people who criticized her for being vegan, but she noted that she changed her diet not to lose weight, but rather she feels better when she eats plants.

Lizzo still remains positive and noted that she feels lucky because she doesn't feel gaining weight or weight loss is bad anymore.
