Being a popular figure in the country music scene, Luke Bryan has attended, and even hosted, some events in the past. Recently, he hosted the 56th annual Country Music Awards alongside Peyton Manning.

Although his recent hosting stint was successful, there was a shocking moment when he got drunk at an event he was hosting in the past; what happened?

In an interview with NELK's "Full Send" podcast, the country musician shared opened up about several things about his personal life, including one of his wildest moments.

At first, the 46-year-old singer noted that he likes to get a little tipsy whenever he goes up on stage and his drink of choice would be a cup of grapefruit juice mixed with vodka.

The reason why he likes performing with the help of alcohol is that he would mess up the lyrics due to overthinking if ever he went on stage sober.

However, there was a surprising moment when he hosted a charity event at his house as he drank an entire bottle of Casamigos tequila on stage and he would never forget what happened.

"We had a charity event at my house and I drank a whole bottle... it was not the time to do it, and I drank a whole bottle of Casamigos on stage... it was bad," he said. (via Whiskey Riff)

Bryan noted that there were numerous guests at his house and they were jamming. Although his guests weren't "pissed" at his actions, it was his neighbors who were sitting on their back porch who had a problem.

Luckily for the country star, authorities weren't involved even though he said cursed words on the microphone, and "a million people heard it throughout the county."

The following day, the musician knew what to do and had to make some phone calls.
