Artists get caught up in controversy everyday. Some choose to address it while others let it slide under the rug.

We've hand-selected these three songs where artists address their personal controversies. Check them out below.

Who: 2 Chainz

Song: "Only That Real" by IamSu! featuring 2 Chainz, Sage The Gemini

Incident Addressed: Robbery

2 Chainz spent last summer denying that he had been robbed of his jewelry at gunpoint in San Francisco until TMZ released surveillance video of the ordeal. Chainz then began humming another tune. During an interview with Atlanta's Hot 107.9, the rapper, formerly known as Tity Boi, detailed the entire incident saying he "saw the gun first. It was like a .357. It was so heavy he couldn't really hold it. The gun was so big. That's what made me take off running."

But that was only after the perpetrators posted the rapper's driver's license and bank card on Instagram. Once he finally fessed up, nothing more was said of the robbery until Bay Area rapper IamSu! featured Chainz on "Only That Real" from his debut album Sincerely Yours.

On the track, Chainz raps:

Still got every chain I had from the start
Just a victim of identity theft
Them ho n****s ordered Victoria Secret cards

Who: Beyoncé

Song: "Flawless (Remix)" by Beyonce featuring Nicki Minaj

Incident Addressed: Assault

The world was taken by surprise when video footage emerged of Solange violently attacking her brother-in-law Jay Z on an elevator as Beyoncé stood by idly.

In the video, Solange could be seen wildly kicking and swinging at the hip-hop mogul. As a man, who appears to be a bodyguard, attempted to hold Solange back, Yonce stood by not getting physically involved during the entire incident.

The Knowles-Carter family said little following the fight except that they had worked through it. Beyonce recently broke her silence, kind of, in a remix of "Flawless."

We escalating, up in this bitch like elevators
Of course sometimes shit go down
When it's a billion dollars on an elevator
Of course sometimes shit go down
When it's a billion dollars on an elevator
Ha-ha! God damn, God damn, God damn

Who: Snoop Dogg

Song: "Murder Was The Case" by Snoop Dogg

Incident Addressed: Murder

Back in 1993, Snoop Dogg and his bodyguard McKinley Lee were arrested in connection with the death of Philip Woldemariam.

As the LA Times reports, Snoop and Lee were acquitted of first- and second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of a gang member at a Los Angeles-area park. They were acquitted in 1996.

Prior to his acquittal, Snoop released a song and short film titled "Murder Was The Case."
