BLACKPINK is headlining shows and breaking records.
It has been a busy week for BLACKPINK as the K-Pop girl group makes an exciting series of forward moves. These thrilling moments for fans of the band are coming right off of the heels of a well-deserved slough of nominations for the iHeart Music Awards. The band was nominated in four different categories. If you ask us, we feel pretty confident that they will be walking away with AT LEAST one of those awards. While we wait to see which accolades the band may be soon able to add to their resume, we look now to the exciting and confirmed week that they have already had. Just yesterday, BLACKPINK announced that they would be headlining Coachella. They will be headlining performances on the 15th and 22nd of July at one of the most popular music festivals there is. The other headliners include Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean. With this line-up of headliners alone, this year's Coachella is certain to be absolutely unforgettable.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! BLACKPINK is having a truly excellent week as their upcoming March concert at Kaohsiung sold out in four minutes. That means that in only four minutes they sold 90,000 tickets. This beats the record of 80,000 tickets that was originally earned by Coldplay back in 2017.
