Lisa Marie Presley's sudden death brought in several questions regarding how the singer lived her life-and a couple of things might come to mind, but one stands out: she lived her life with love.

Presley's death was confirmed by her mother through a statement: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us." She was 54.

While news of her death swirl around the Internet in what almost appears to be an endless loop, her life is just as scrutinized.

Growing up under the spotlight, Presley is no stranger to high-profile relationships and popular, handsome men.

The singer-songwriter had married four times throughout her life. Her first marriage was to Danny Keough in 1985 when she was 20 years old.

During her marriage with Keough, Presley gave birth to two children, her firstborn Riley in 1989 and Benjamin Storm in 1992. She and her first husband then divorced in 1994.

Despite their split, Presley and Keough remained friendly and maintained a good relationship until her death

"Ultimately this is a good message to send out to people: You don't have to put your crap on your kids even if you are not together. You can still be civilized," she said about the divorce.

"I knew at the age that I had the kids with him that Danny was someone I could be connected with for the rest of my life. I knew he would be a good father."

After Keough, Presley found love yet again in the arms of another artist, Michael Jackson.

Although her relationship and marriage with the "Thriller" singer was short, she had nothing but good things to say about it.

After their marriage, she reportedly said: "I am very much in love with Michael, I dedicate my life to being his wife. I understand and support him. We both look forward to raising a family."

The late singer's estate issued a statement after the announcement of Presley's death: "Michael cherished the special bond they enjoyed as apparent in the official video for 'You Are Not Alone', and was comforted by Lisa Marie's generous love, concern and care during their times together."

In 2002, Presley got married to award-winning actor Nicolas Cage. Their marriage was brief yet explosive.

Cage described meeting the singer-songwriter for the first time, "There's this beautiful girl standing in the middle of the living room [...] and she looks up at me with these big, beautiful, soulful eyes that look like they have a sad story to tell."

However, after their split, Presley expressed her disappointment and regret: "I'm sad about this, but we shouldn't have been married in the first place. It was a big mistake."

In 2006, Presley married her last husband, Michael Lockwood. She gave birth to twins Harper and Finley two years after.

However, despite the passing men in her life, the man who Presley will always have in her heart is her father, who adored and cherished her.

Elvis died when she was just nine years old, but it was clear he loved her probably more than life itself.

According to Insider, Presley was staying with the late legend when he died in his home at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
