After waiting for nearly three years, fans rejoice online after Lil Yachty finally confirmed and shared the official release date of his highly-anticipated fifth studio album; however, the official album art is gaining a lot of buzz on social media because many of them don't agree with it

Taking to his official social media accounts, the rapper shared a photo of the official album cover along with the title and release date.

Titled "Let's Start Here," the upcoming record will be available for purchase and streaming on major music platforms starting on January 27, 2023. This is the follow-up to his 2020 album, "Lil Boat 3" and 2021's mixtape, "Michigan Boy Beat."

As of this writing, the musician has not revealed the official tracklist, featuring artists, and more information about the upcoming project, but he shared a follow-up tweet, writing, "I have so many things to say.."

The album cover, which was seemingly generated by artificial intelligence, is gaining a lot of attention as many fans expressed their true feelings about the artwork.

"i speak for everyone when i say 'we are not rockin with album cover, please change it,'" one wrote.

"It's gonna be great and psychedelic, but the cover ass imo," another one wrote.

Another Lil Yachty Album Leaked Prior to Latest Announcement

The recent announcement comes a few weeks after Lil Yachty's unreleased album titled "Sonic Ranch" reportedly leaked online.

According to Hype Beast, the first set of leaked songs were first listened by fans on Christmas day, December 25, 2022. The project was allegedly one of the rapper's projects last year along with a mixtape from his record label, Concrete Boys, but it was not officially released to the public.

Fans who claimed to have listened to the album were excited about the musician's new sound as the leaked record was reportedly "alternative" mixed with psychedelic elements, which is similar to Tame Impala.

Despite his music making rounds online without officially dropping it, Lil Yachty remained silent and did not react on the issue. However, he replied to a fan's tweet with a sad face emoji.
