A first look at Lisa Marie Presley's burial spot has been shared publicly.

A spokesperson for Presley's daughter, Riley Keough, confirmed the details of the singer-songwriter's upcoming public service to honor her career and legacy. The representative added that she would be laid to rest at Graceland.

"Riley, Harper, Finley, and Priscilla are grateful for the support, well-wishes, and outpouring of love honoring their beloved Lisa Marie," the representative told People. "A public memorial service has been arranged on the front lawn of Graceland at 9:00 am on Sunday, January 22 in Memphis."

The first look of the place has been shared online by a news outlet. In the clip, it can be seen that a place in Graceland, where the remains of Elvis Presley and other family members were buried, is being excavated.

Unnamed sources confirmed that Presley would be laid to rest beside her late son, Benjamin, and across her father's plot. The famous backyard fountain area also has the remains of the King of Rock and Roll's parents Gladys and Vernon, and his grandmother, Minnie Mae.

The publication added that the work on the memorial site started Tuesday. But aside from excavating Presley's burial spot, there are also works in preparation for the gathering on Sunday, including a stage with a backdrop on the mansion's front lawn.

It remains unknown who will attend the gathering, but sources said people expect to see big names during the memorial service on the weekend.

Photos of Graceland's front entrance also show flowers left by fans after Presley's death.

Lisa Marie Presley Chose Her Resting Place

Before the representative announced Presley's burial spot, Presley previously shared where she wanted to be buried in one of her songs.

In her 2003 debut album, "To Whom It May Concern," Presley added the song "Light's Out" where she talked about her resting place.

"Someone turned the lights out there in Memphis/Ooh, that's where my family's buried and gone (gone)/Oh yeah/Last time I was there I noticed a space left/Oh, next to them there in Memphis, yeah/In the damn back lawn," she sang.

This resonated with what Grief counselor David Kessler shared on his Instagram post. He revealed that Graceland was Presley's happy place.

Ahead of the memorial service, the Presley family asks the fans that, in lieu of flowers, they can donate instead to The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit group that has been supporting organizations focusing on education, arts, and children's programs in Memphis and Whitehaven.
