Adam Lambert's Career After "American Idol" 

Although Lambert didn't win "American Idol" in its season eight, he went on to release his debut album after the singing competition wrapped up. Adam's debut album was called, "For Your Entertainment." This album likewise got the "American Idol" alum a Grammy nomination. It wasn't long before the first single off Lambert's debut album, "Whatya Want from Me", became a sensational hit song. 

Lambert starred in the TV musical show, "Glee," in 2013 for six episodes. Adam further did jobs in the TV and film industries on the side. He appeared in a cameo in the movie, "Bohemian Rhapsody". Additionally, he voiced the character of Emperor Maximus in the animated film, "Playmobil: The Movie." 

Since 2018, Lambert has been the lead singer of the band, "Queen." The music act has since been renamed "Queen + Adam Lambert", as the AI alum has taken over as its frontman vocalist. 

Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson's Recent Duet 

On October last year, Lambert and Jennifer Hudson performed the song, "Nessun Dorma" in a duet. This song was featured in Giacomo Puccini's classic opera, "Turandot." The two singers performed the song on the Hudson-hosted talk show, "The Jennifer Hudson Show."
