The death of Lisa Marie Presley was mourned by millions of her fans worldwide. The only daughter of the King of Rock and Roll passed away last Jan. 12, 2023, after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Presley was laid to rest on her father's estate in Memphis, Tennessee, on Graceland, along with her son, Benjamin Keough. He passed away in 2020 because of a self-inflicted gunshot to his mouth.
The 54-year-old singer and actress were survived by her daughters, her eldest, Riley Keough, and her twins, Harper and Finley Lockwood.
During her eulogy, the Lockwood twins penned an emotional eulogy for their mother, which was read by her grandmother, Priscilla.
"I have no idea how to put my mother into words, truth is there are too many. Lisa Marie Presley was an icon, a role model, a superhero to many people all over the world, but Mama was my icon, my role model, my superhero in much more ways than one," Priscilla read.
Meanwhile, her eldest, Riley, was also present, but it was her husband, Ben Petersen, who read her message to her mother.
"I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters. Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity," Riley penned, revealing to the world that she was with a child.
Reports speculated that Riley was currently pregnant. However, recent photos show that she was holding a child on the way to her mother's funeral - with many theorizing that she had given birth in 2022, before her mother's death.
Riley is still remembering her mother up to this day. In a recent post, she posted her last photo with her mother, taken by her friend, actress Georgie Flores.
"I feel blessed to have a photo of the last time I saw my beautiful mama," Riley said in the post.
The comments section was filled with love and admiration from Keough's friends and her mother's fans.
"She is with you always. You are a legacy of her powerful love and powerful light," someone said.
"Such a beautiful picture. So sorry for your loss, Riley," another shared.
