Just days after being laid to rest in Graceland, Lisa Marie Presley's family is in chaos-her mother, Priscilla Presley, is filing for control over her estate, which has been passed down to her daughter, Riley Keough, through a trust.

Who will get control over the massive estate Lisa Marie left behind in the wake of her death?

Reports say that the Presley family matriarch, Priscilla, has made her move, by challenging the authenticity of the paperwork in regard to the succession of the estate.

In 2016, Lisa Marie removed Priscilla as a trustee, as well as her former business manager Barry Siegel; and instead named her two children, Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough as co-trustees.

Because Benjamin is now deceased, the 33-year-old actress is supposed to be the sole trustee, as per the amendment filed in 2016.

However, upon further inspection, Priscilla claims that the trust provision's authenticity should be put into question, noting that the late singer's signature on the document "appears inconsistent with her usual and customary signature."

Apparently, the 2016 amendment of the document was not brought to light until the untimely death of Lisa Marie on Jan. 12, due to cardiac arrest. In addition, the amendment was never notarized, Priscilla was not a witness to the amendment, and it also misspelled Priscilla's name.

The document reads: "Accordingly, in such event, Riley would become a co-trustee with [Priscilla] with respect to the trust and all trust created thereunder. Notwithstanding the foregoing, since Riley is over the age of 30, she may act as a co-trustee of her subtrust upon delivering a written instrument signed by her consenting to act in such capacity."

Aol reported that it is unlikely Lisa Marie would have appointed Siegel as a co-trustee, as she had once filed a suit against him, accusing him for negligence and mismanagement of her finances.

According to reports, Lisa Marie's net worth was negative $10 million at the time of her death. There are conflicting reasons why this is so, however, some allude that it might be due to spending so much money on lawsuits-some filed against Siegel and Michael Lockwood, Lisa Marie's ex-husband and the father of her children Harper and Finley.

According to reports, the Presley Charitable Foundation is a contingent beneficiary of the trust, and furthermore neither Priscilla nor Riley has released any statements about the document.
