The sheer number of ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos that have surfaced in the past week is pretty daunting, but if you're going to watch only one, make it the Foo Fighters'. After being challenged by country singer Zac Brown, Dave Grohl accepted by putting on a prom dress and re-enacting the climactic scene from Carrie with his bandmates. It's the funniest thing I've seen all week, and you can check it out below.

Alongside Grohl, drummer Taylor Hawkins put on his best blue tuxedo to play Carrie's prom date, with guitarist Pat Smear and bassist Nate Mendel playing the backstage pranksters who drop the bucket on Grohl's head. The three-minute clip also makes extensive use of footage and audio from Brian De Palma's original 1976 film.

Grohl goes on to nominate Jack Black, John Travolta, and Stephen King to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Stephen King, of course, is the author of Carrie, and John Travolta appeared in the original film. Jack Black has no connection to the film, but he and Grohl are friends (Grohl even made a cameo appearance as Satan in Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny).
