Billboard officially unveiled the details of its upcoming Billboard Women in Music Awards.
Each year, Billboard honors female musicians, creators, producers, and other artists who make unmatched contributions to the industry. Ahead of the scheduled ceremony, Billboard Editorial Director Hannah Karp penned a statement to express Billboard's excitement to honor notable female powerhouses once again.
"We're thrilled to recognize these groundbreaking artists across genres and generations who are defining today's sound - and paving the way for tomorrow's women in music," she said. "With the inspiring Quinta Brunson as our host, this year's Billboard Women in Music Awards is going to be an incredible night."

2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards Honorees, Host
Billboard announced that Quinta Brunson would host this year's event. She is a famed writer, producer, actress, and comedian who won several accolades and recognitions, including the first Black woman to be nominated three times in the comedy category at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Among Brunson's TV series include "Broke," "Up for Adoption," "Lazor Wulf," "Magical Girl Friendship Squad," "Miracle Workers," "Abbott Elementary," and "Cars on the Road."
