Many fans and other celebrities have been concerned about Britney Spears' current state and some of them even want the authorities involved with the situation. More recently, Alyssa Milano expressed her worries about the pop star and it appears that the singer didn't take it lightly.

In December, the actress took to her Twitter account to post, "Someone please go check on Britney Spears." Today, nearly two months after sharing the tweet, Beyoncé has finally spoken out about the matter.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the "Hold Me Closer" hitmaker shared a brief statement on her stories about how she felt after the "Who's The Boss" star expressed her concern.

"It saddens me to see things about me from people who don't know me!!!," the musician began, adding that she felt like the actress' post feels like "a form of bullying."

"Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down!!!," Spears concluded.

In other reports, a representative for Milano confirmed to an outlet that the star reached out to the pop star in private with an apology after being called out on social media.

However, it's unsure whether Spears accepted the apology or not.

Britney Spears Visited by Police After Fans Called Authorities

The recent news comes after authorities confirmed that they responded to the pop star's home to perform a wellness check after they received several calls from fans who were concerned with the singer's safety because she deleted her Instagram account.

The Ventura County Sherrif's Office later noted that the authorities who visited Spears confirmed that she was not in danger, but it's unclear whether the pop star spoke to them in person or it was her representative who addressed them.

Following this, the "Baby One More Time" songstress issued a statement to address the situation, saying she loves and adores her supporters but the recent incident led her privacy to be invaded.

"The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately," the singer confirmed.

Concluding her post, the musician said she felt like she was being "gaslit and bullied" after the incident broke out in the news as she was being portrayed "in a poor and unfair light by the media."
