How did Clint Black Get Discovered?

Black forged a songwriting partnership that lasted for decades with guitarist, Hayden Nicholas. The two men met in 1987, according to Gemtracks.com. During the latter part of the 1980's, Black and Nicholas worked on a demo of their collaboration on the song, "Nobody's Home."
