When Lisa Marie Presley passed away last month, there was apparently no contact between Priscilla Presley and her.
The daughter of Elvis and Priscilla passed away at the age of 54 after what was likely a heart attack in her Calabasas home more than two weeks ago.
After she was buried in Graceland beside her father, the King of Rock 'n' Roll, and her son Benjamin, who committed suicide in 2020, Priscilla promptly filed a lawsuit against the estate.
Prior to Priscilla's passing away last month, The Post reported that Lisa Marie and her had been estranged for about eight years.
One source who talked to the site said that Priscilla, who has served as the trustee of the Elvis Presley estate for many years and earns roughly $900,000 per year, did not have her contract renewed by the business in 2020.
The same anonymous friend said that Priscilla and Lisa Marie refused to sit next to one another at the Golden Globes ceremony honoring the motion picture "Elvis" last month.
"Lisa didn't want to interact with her mother," they said in their statement to the media site. For the past seven to eight years, she and Priscilla had essentially been at odds. When there was no other choice, they would only talk.
The mother-daughter pair who appeared to have attended the event together was found to have been pushed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to seat close to them other.
Lisa wasn't even Priscilla's chaperone; Jerry Schilling, an old acquaintance of Elvis, was. Mother and daughter were pushed together by the HFP.
Lisa Marie Presley allegedly updated her 1993 living will in 2010, adding her mother as a co-trustee with her former business manager Barry Siegel, whom she later sued for mismanagement.
However, upon Lisa Marie's passing, Priscilla discovered a 2016 change that removed both her and Barry as co-trustees and replaced them with Riley Keough, Benjamin Keough, and twins Finley and Harper Lockwood, Lisa Marie's four children.

After realizing her grandchildren's names were listed in the will instead of her own, the well-known mother allegedly challenged its legality.
According to a different acquaintance, Lisa Marie would be furious if she knew what Priscilla is up to now and she were still alive.
The unidentified friend also revealed Lisa Marie and Priscilla's troubled connection, saying they always had a "weird relationship" and were "frequently estranged."
"It was frequently an issue for Lisa when Priscilla, her ex-husband Michael Lockwood, and her half-brother Navarone were all gathered in the same area. But I was surprised to see a trust filing from the Priscilla side."
