The 65th annual Grammy Awards will be held this Sunday.

This year's major award contenders include Adele, Beyonce, Harry Styles, ABBA, Lizzo, Brandi Carlile, and many others.

Here is a look at some of the most notable Grammy winners ever before the big event.

Who Won the Most Grammys in History?

Georg Solti has won the most Grammys. According to USA Today, he scored 31 victories.

The orchestra conductor passed away in 1997, the same year that "Wagner: Die Meistersinger Von Nürnberg" won him his final award for outstanding opera recording.

He earned 74 nominations throughout his career.

Beyonce Knowles-Carter, who has won 28 Grammys, is the second-most-awarded musician.

By winning her 28th prize in 2021, she surpassed Alison Krauss for the most awards for a female artist and super-producer Quincy Jones for the second-most wins overall.

Alison has 27 awards, compared to 28 for Quincy.

Jazz musician and composer Chick Corea, who has won 27 Grammy Awards, is followed on the list by conductor and composer Pierre Boulez, who has won 26 awards, pianist and composer Validmir Horowitz, who has won 25 awards, and singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder, who has won 25 awards.

While Beyonce's husband Jay-Z has 24 Grammy Awards, John Williams also has 25.

However, Beyonce is the female artist with the most Grammys overall in her career.

With 88 nominations, the "Lemonade" hitmaker is also the most nominated female artist in Grammy history, sharing the record with her husband.

Will The Top Grammy Winners of All Time Win Again This 2023?

The 2023 Grammy Awards only nominate two of the abovementioned list's artists.

More than any other artist this year, Beyonce is nominated for nine Grammys. If she wins three of them, she would equal the late classical conductor Georg Solti for the most Grammys ever.

If Beyonce wins four Oscars tonight, she will break the previous record.

Album of the Year, however, is a title she has yet to win and is an obvious absence from her list of achievements.

It will come down to album of the year, but wins for song of the year and album of the year would be significant victories for the all-time Grammy winner.

This year, Jay-Z has received five nominations for accolades, including two for Song of the Year.

He would overtake Kanye West as the most honored rap artist in history if he takes home even one of his five nominations.

With 24 victories apiece, Jay-Z and Kanye are tied for first place in that category.
