Co-writers with the likes of Victoria Shaw, Kent Blazy, and Pat Alger, just to name a few, performed with Brooks in the said event in an in-the-round, acoustic song set, that included the song, "The River."
The benefit was a part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of The Alive & The Bluebird series. The funds raised were proceeds that went to Alive's community services, that included, grief support, financial assistance to patients, families' and professionals' education, and kids' grief camps.
