Just a few days after Lisa Marie Presley was laid to rest, her mother, Priscilla, rushed to court to challenge her daughter's will.

The only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley passed away last month following a heart attack at her Calabasas, California, residence.

The troublesome daughter, as was previously known, was heavily indebted at the time of her passing. She had massive past taxes to pay, as well as a $1.1 million debt that she was trying to recoup.

According to reports, Lisa Marie owes roughly $3 million to several creditors.

Riley Keough, is said to have been "blindsided" after her grandmother Priscilla rushed to court to be appointed co-trustee of Lisa Marie's trust.

According to a source who spoke to Radar Online, "She can't believe that her grandmother is already at the courthouse trying to get her hands on the estate when Lisa Marie was just buried."

"It's looking like a huge showdown is brewing!"

However, Priscilla petitioned to be added as a co-trustee of the trust that her daughter had established last month. The trust, according to her, was first created in 1993 and modified in 2010.

Priscilla insisted that she and Lisa Marie's former business manager, Barry Siegel, were appointed as co-trustees of the estate.

The former spouse of Elvis claimed to have lately learned about a 2016 modification. She argued that Lisa Marie didn't sign the modification that made Riley, her late brother Benjamin, and the twin children Finley and Harper Lockwood the co-trustees and removed her.

With this, Priscilla argues that the 2016 amendment has to be rejected.

Meanwhile, Lisa Marie Presley's friends are confident that she would be furious by her mother's attempts to manage her wealth.

Insiders told The Post that Priscilla and Lisa Marie had been estranged for around eight years prior to her passing.

One unidentified friend even said that Priscilla's contract with Elvis Presley Enterprises was not renewed in 2020 despite the fact that she earns $900,000 a year as a longtime trustee of the King's estate.

The friend said, "At the Golden Globes last month to honor "Elvis," the biopic based on the late King of Rock 'n' Roll, the mother-daughter pair didn't even want to sit close to each other.

"Lisa didn't want to have anything to do with her mom. She was basically estranged from Priscilla for the last seven to eight years. They only talked when there was no option."
