This is not a drill! After months of waiting, fans can finally hear Lizzo and SZA's collaborative remix and it's coming sooner than expected: when are they dropping the track?
Taking to her official Instagram account, the musician, who recently snagged the Record Of The Year award at this year's Grammys, shared a random video of herself announcing when the remix is coming out.
"Special featuring SZA drops tomorrow," the Emmy Award-winning producer said.
Fans won't have to wait any longer as the song will drop anytime around Thursday, February 9, 2023. Lizzo has not included an exact time in her announcement.
The recent video comes a few months after the two artists teased fans about the collab. In November, the "Kill Bill" hitmaker made a surprise appearance at Lizzo's concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California, where they performed the yet-to-be-released song.
Following this, the "About Damn Time" songstress shared a video on TikTok with SZA, writing, "Guess what B****?!" In the clip, a teaser of the song can be heard in the background as the two best friends vibed together.
Lizzo also shared the video on Twitter, writing, "Something Special coming your way soon... @sza."

The "Ghost in the Machine" singer appeared on the "Rolling Stone Music Now" podcast in December to give fans an insight about her connection with the pop star, saying they're having so much fun whenever they hang out in a recording studio.
"I feel like she gets me. She's another person who has hella music tastes and doesn't fit in anybody's box of anything," she added.
Back in September, SZA was named as one of Time Magazine's 2022 Time100 Next and Lizzo was the one who wrote her profile. In the essay, she recalled how they first met each other at a concert in Minneapolis.
During the early days of their careers, Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, said she was a fan of SZA that's why they took a selfie together in a bathroom then the rest was history.
Even though the two musicians have been friends for years now, the upcoming "Special" remix is their first official collaboration ever.
